Python Automation with UNIX

We are looking for an experienced Python Automation Engineer / SDET who is passionate about quality engineering and test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python-based automation frameworks, Unix/Linux environments, SQL, and exposure to Banking or Capital Markets domains. This is a strategic automation-focused role requiring both technical expertise and stakeholder collaboration.
Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python Automation Testing
• Experience in developing and maintaining Automation Frameworks
• Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and Shell Scripting
• Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries
• Experience with Selenium, API Testing, or related automation tools
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr/Xray, and Confluence
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
• Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets domain experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
• Enhance automation coverage and improve overall testing efficiency.
• Perform requirement analysis, test planning, test design, and execution.
• Create and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Analyze defects, track issues, and collaborate on resolution.
• Mentor junior team members and promote QA best practices.
• Support CI/CD implementation and automation initiatives.
• Ensure quality and stability of new and existing features.
