About The Job:
- We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS & RISE Consultant with 5–12 years of relevant experience in SAP BASIS administration, SAP S/4HANA, and RISE with SAP environments.
- The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP system administration, cloud operations, HANA database administration, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization. The role involves managing SAP landscapes hosted on AWS, Azure, GCP, and SAP RISE while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence.
- Administer and support SAP ABAP and Java systems in on-premise and RISE with SAP environments.
- Manage SAP S/4HANA Private/Public Cloud landscapes under the RISE with SAP shared responsibility model.
- Perform SAP installations, system copies, refreshes, kernel upgrades, patching, and support pack implementations.
- Execute SAP S/4HANA conversions and upgrades using SUM and SWPM.
- Administer transport management (STMS), client administration, and system startup/shutdown activities.
- Monitor SAP system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system health.
- Apply SAP Notes, security patches, and support audit and compliance activities.
- Perform SAP HANA administration, backup/recovery, and database maintenance.
- Collaborate with SAP, cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and environment management.
Mandatory Skills
- 5–12 years of SAP BASIS Administration experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP BASIS on ABAP and Java stacks.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and RISE with SAP.
- Experience with SAP HANA Database Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with SUM, SWPM, SPAM, SAINT, and STMS.
- Experience in SAP system upgrades, migrations, refreshes, and kernel upgrades.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and SAP system monitoring.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Understanding of the RISE with SAP shared responsibility model.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager.
- SAP BASIS or SAP HANA certification.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell/Python).
- Experience in SAP security and audit compliance.
