What You'll Do
This position is part of the Global Cost Sharing Team. We enable consistent and transparent allocation of costs across the firm, to facilitate better decision-making and financial clarity. We lead the design, execution, and evolution of BCG's global cost sharing model. Working closely with both global and regional stakeholders, we align on methodologies, deliver insight through planning and actuals, and continuously enhance policies, processes, and systems.
You will manage the oversight and continuous improvement of BCG's global cost sharing mechanisms, including allocations and internal local cost sharing (ILCS). This role sits at the center of a complex, global finance landscape - ensuring transparency, consistency, and alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end delivery of global cost sharing processes across both planning and actuals
Lead rate setting and allocation methodologies, working closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure fairness and alignment
Drive actuals reporting and variance analysis, translating outputs into clear business insights
Partner with finance teams across regions, functions, and systems to align assumptions, resolve issues, and improve outcomes
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on cost allocation impacts and financial performance
Maintain and evolve cost sharing policies, ensuring they remain fit-for-purpose and clearly understood
Oversee and enhance BCG's cost sharing systems and mechanisms, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and control
Identify and drive automation, simplification, and process improvements across the cost sharing landscape
Lead communication of policies, updates, and changes to a global audience
What You'll Bring
Finance and technical expertise
Strong foundation across accounting, FP&A, and management reporting
Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large, complex datasets and building scalable models
Experience with financial systems/tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus
Analytical capability and attention to detail
Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and generate insights
High level of accuracy and discipline-you get the basics right before moving to insight
Willingness to roll up your sleeves-this role includes hands-on, executional work

Experience and education
7+ years of relevant finance experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar (MBA preferred)
Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the Global Capabilities & Projects (GCP) organization, working within a global network of teams that support BCG's strategic, operational, and financial priorities. GCP brings together a diverse group of experts and operators, collaborating across functions and geographies to enable the firm at scale.
In this role, you will partner closely with colleagues across Global Finance, including Accounting, FP&A, Intercompany and Financial Systems, as well as regional and local finance teams across all markets. You will also work with teams responsible for reporting, investments, and core finance operations to ensure alignment on cost sharing outcomes.
Day-to-day, you will collaborate with stakeholders across regions, building strong relationships to align on methodologies, resolve issues, and deliver consistent, high-quality financial outcomes across the firm.
