Interview Engineer

This is a unique contract opportunity for experienced software engineers who are passionate about technical excellence and improving the hiring experience for developers worldwide. In this role, you will conduct structured technical interviews, evaluate candidates objectively, and help organizations make better hiring decisions through consistent and unbiased assessments. You'll work remotely with a flexible schedule, contributing your expertise on a task-based basis while collaborating with a global community of engineering professionals. Accountabilities:
- Conduct live technical interviews with software engineering candidates through a structured online platform, ensuring a professional, engaging, and unbiased interview experience.
- Assess candidates' coding abilities, technical knowledge, problem-solving approaches, communication skills, and overall engineering fundamentals using standardized evaluation criteria.
- Deliver accurate, objective, and timely interview feedback to support fair and consistent hiring decisions.
- Collaborate on the improvement of interview content, evaluation methodologies, and platform features by providing constructive feedback and participating in testing initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and technical accuracy throughout every stage of the interview process.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including coding, algorithms, and data structures.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills with the ability to conduct professional technical discussions.
- Previous experience conducting technical interviews is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection, webcam, and microphone to facilitate remote interviews.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, objectivity, and the ability to evaluate candidates fairly and consistently.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, contractor-based environment.
