About The Job:
- Strong expertise in GCP services (i.e. Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Compute Engine, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud NAT, Google Load Balancers, Cloud SQL, Google Firewall and Cloud Armor)
- Google Cloud Certified (or) experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Architect and optimize complex data solutions across GCP.
- Lead the design of scalable and secure data platforms
- Design and develop data pipelines using GCP services like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery
- Perform data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation
- Manage data storage solutions (Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL)
- Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and review code/data pipelines
- Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business goals.
- Stay updated with GCP innovations and integrate best practices.
- Develop enterprise cloud guidelines and automation.
- Conducting regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
- Exp: 8-14 years
- Experience in Chef, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering(SRE) Principles and practices added advantage.
Primary Skills:-
- GCP IaaS Compute, Storage, Networking & GKE,.
- GCP services: CloudRun, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Dataproc.
- Expertise in SQL/Oracle DB and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker or Data Studio.
Secondary Skills:-
- CI/CD tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Monitoring tools, and DevOps practices, Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
