About The Job:
- The purpose of this role is to manage Innovation & Renovation projects as part of the organization's business expansion strategy.
- The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, manufacturing units, vendors, and packaging partners to drive successful packaging development and implementation initiatives.
- Experience: 10–12 Years
- Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead and manage Innovation & Renovation packaging projects aligned with business growth objectives.
- Drive packaging development activities across product lifecycle stages from concept to commercialization.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- Work closely with external packaging vendors and suppliers to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
- Manage packaging design changes, material selection, testing, approvals, and implementation.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Support packaging innovation initiatives to improve functionality, sustainability, cost effectiveness, and consumer appeal.
- Travel to vendor locations and company manufacturing units as required.
- Ensure compliance with packaging standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–12 years of relevant experience managing packaging projects in FMCG or Alcobev companies.
- Strong experience in innovation, renovation, and packaging development projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong project management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Candidate should be based in Bangalore.
Travel Requirements
- Must be willing to travel to vendor locations and company manufacturing units as required.
- Travel costs related to official business will be borne by the company.
- Local travel within the home city will be reimbursed.
- Work-from-home option will be available only at the discretion of the Line Manager.
Educational Qualifications
- University Degree, Engineering Degree, or Food Technology Degree.
- Post Graduate qualification in Packaging from IIP (Indian Institute of Packaging) or SIES School of Packaging is mandatory/preferred.
