Lead Engineer - NPU driver development

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, integrate, and maintain NPU drivers for X5H SoC platforms.
Perform driver-level testing, validation, debugging, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with system architects, firmware teams, and hardware engineers to ensure seamless NPU integration.
Analyse and resolve complex software and hardware interaction issues.
Develop unit test cases and support system-level testing activities.
Investigate performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve NPU efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with software development standards and best practices.
Support bring-up activities and troubleshooting of embedded platforms.

Work Experience
Strong programming skills in C and C++.
Hands-on experience in NPU Driver Development and Testing for X5H SoC.
Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and device driver development.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting low-level software issues.
Knowledge of memory management, multi-threading, and performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with hardware-software interaction and SoC architecture.
Experience
5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development.
Proven experience in developing and validating embedded drivers.
Experience working on Linux/RTOS-based embedded platforms is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Experience with AI/ML accelerator hardware or heterogeneous computing architectures is an added advantage.
Familiarity with embedded development tools, debuggers, and profiling utilities.
