Essential Job Functions:
- Execute and support database migrations from on-premises (VMware) to Google Cloud.
- Operate PostgreSQL databases in hybrid and cloud environments.
- Support migration activities, including technical analysis, preparation, execution, validation, post-migration stabilization, and issue resolution.
- Perform database administration tasks, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Conduct capacity planning.
- Configure backup, recovery, and high availability.
- Support incidents, changes, and releases in line with ITSM processes.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Security, Platform, and Application teams.
- Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
