Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Developer
Location: PAN India
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer with hands-on experience in implementing and customizing ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management, IntegrationHub, and JavaScript scripting. The candidate will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to automate IT operations and improve service visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Configure and maintain Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.
- Configure and manage Event Management, including event rules, alert correlation, and operational intelligence.
- Develop integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services.
- Troubleshoot Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and MID Server issues.
- Maintain CMDB health, implement CSDM best practices, and improve data quality.
- Create workflows, catalogs, and automation to streamline IT operations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams to onboard new services.
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide production support.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of ServiceNow Development experience.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules.

Strong knowledge of:
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- CMDB
- Event Management
- MID Server
- IntegrationHub
- Flow Designer
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting knowledge.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
- Good understanding of Windows, Linux, Network, VMware, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Infrastructure concepts.
- Knowledge of CSDM and CMDB data models.
- Experience with update sets, source control, and ServiceNow application development.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cloud Discovery or Cloud Management.
- Knowledge of Orchestration and Automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience integrating monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk, LogicMonitor, or Nagios with ServiceNow.
- Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery (CIS-Discovery)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Event Management (preferred)
