Essential Job Functions:
Process analysis and documentation
- Analyze existing workflows, procedures, and operating practices across Credentialing capabilities to identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain clear, accurate process documentation including process maps, SIPOC models, RACI matrices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support the creation and upkeep of enterprise playbooks that capture how the organization performs its most critical work.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives by gathering data, facilitating workshops, and synthesizing stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain a continuous improvement backlog and track the status of in-flight improvement efforts.
- Identify and escalate process friction, decision ambiguity, and governance gaps that create operational risk or reduce consistency.
- Support the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, decision-right models, and approval structures.
- Help ensure that enterprise standards are clearly communicated and accessible to all Credentialing capability teams.
- Assist with policy alignment activities that connect operating practices to broader organizational and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate working sessions, process walkthroughs, and improvement workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Communicate process changes clearly and support change enablement activities that promote consistent adoption.
- Build collaborative relationships across Credentialing capabilities to understand operational needs and ensure processes are practical and scalable.
- Support the development and tracking of process performance metrics including cycle time, adoption rate, documentation completeness, and compliance.
- Contribute to operational dashboards and process performance reporting that inform continuous improvement decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Organizational Development, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations, or a related function.
- Demonstrated ability to document business processes using standard techniques such as process maps, flowcharts, or SIPOC models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present process information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort facilitating discussions and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 notation or equivalent process modeling standards.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with credentialing, certification, or learning and development operations.
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform or enterprise workflow automation tools.
- Lean Six Sigma White Belt, Yellow Belt, or equivalent certification (or active pursuit).
