Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SFCC Automation Tester with strong expertise in testing eCommerce applications built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, test framework development, API testing, and validating end-to-end eCommerce workflows. The role requires close collaboration with development, business, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for SFCC-based eCommerce applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Automate UI and API test scenarios using industry-standard tools.
• Validate critical eCommerce functionalities including:
  • Product Catalog
  • Search & Browse
  • Cart & Checkout
  • Promotions & Coupons
  • Payments
  • Order Management
  • Customer Account
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks.
• Perform API testing and backend validations.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with developers for resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and QA estimation activities.
• Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of QA experience with strong automation testing expertise.
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/B2C Commerce) applications.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Good understanding of eCommerce business processes and customer journeys.
• Experience in REST API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
• Experience testing OCAPI/SCAPI integrations.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Performance testing exposure using JMeter or similar tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility and cross-browser testing.
• Experience working with headless commerce implementations is a plus.

Good to Have

• Salesforce Commerce Cloud domain experience.
• Experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
