About The Job:

• We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Intelligent Automation Developer to join our Intelligent Automation Team and help drive the next generation of enterprise automation.
• This role goes beyond traditional RPA development — you will design and build intelligent, AI-powered automation solutions by combining Blue Prism, Python, RESTful APIs, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and AWS cloud services to automate complex business processes across the organisation.
• You will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable automation solutions that leverage Generative AI, intelligent decision-making, and cloud-native technologies — creating measurable impact across multiple business domains.

Essential Job Functions:
Automation Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade automation solutions using Blue Prism and Python.
• Implement secure, scalable, and resilient automation frameworks with robust exception handling, monitoring, logging, and operational support.
• Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities where Generative AI can enhance or replace traditional automation approaches.

Generative AI & LLM Integration

• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) — such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Amazon Bedrock, or other foundation models — into enterprise automation workflows.
• Design and develop AI-powered automation solutions including intelligent document processing, chatbot integrations, knowledge assistants, document summarisation, information extraction, and automated decision-making.
• Build and integrate AI Agents capable of interacting with enterprise systems, APIs, and business applications to execute complex multi-step workflows.

Engineering & Collaboration

• Develop reusable Python libraries and services for automation, AI integrations, data processing, and API orchestration.
• Design, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud services into automation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality intelligent automation solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions that create measurable business value.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

Intelligent Automation

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise automations using Blue Prism.
• Strong understanding of Blue Prism architecture: Object Studio, Process Studio, Work Queues, Control Room, Release Management, and exception handling.
• Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and supporting production automation solutions.

Python Development

• Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using core libraries including: pandas, NumPy, requests, openpyxl, and concurrent.futures.
• Experience building reusable Python modules and integrating Python with enterprise automation platforms.

Generative AI & LLMs

• Hands-on experience integrating Large Language Models into enterprise applications via APIs.
• Working experience with one or more of: OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
• Solid understanding of Prompt Engineering, Context Management, Function/Tool Calling, Structured Outputs, Token Management, and Model Evaluation.

AI Agents & Agentic AI

• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases and MCP concepts are advantageous.

APIs & Integration

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, and JSON/XML data formats.
• Proven experience integrating enterprise applications through APIs and web services.

Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS)

• Working knowledge of AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Amazon Bedrock, and VPC.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SageMaker is a plus.

Software Engineering

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Git/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, SQL, .NET/C#, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Vault, Passport, or similar credential management solutions is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Blue Prism Certification (AD01/AD02) is preferred.
• Experience building production-ready AI applications using Amazon Bedrock or OpenAI APIs.
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, or OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of AI observability, prompt evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
