Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Appium Quality Engineer (QE) with strong expertise in mobile automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Appium, Java, Selenium, and REST Assured and should be capable of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation test frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium.

Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for mobile and web applications.

Create and execute automated API test cases using REST Assured.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

Develop reusable automation components and improve test coverage.

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, and test execution.

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure application quality.

Troubleshoot automation failures and continuously optimize test scripts.

Required Skills:

5–7 years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA Automation, or Software Testing.

Strong hands-on experience with Appium mobile automation.

Strong programming experience in Java.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

Experience in API automation testing using REST Assured.

Good understanding of mobile application testing for Android and iOS platforms.

Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.

Knowledge of test management and defect-tracking tools.

Experience with Git and CI/CD tools is preferred.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

Knowledge of Maven or Gradle.

Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.

Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
