Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Quality Engineer (SQE) with strong expertise in mobile test automation using Appium. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing scalable automation frameworks for Android and iOS applications using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through robust automation and continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications using Appium.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Automate REST API testing using Rest Assured.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze application requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios and automation scripts.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Maintain test reports, defect logs, and quality metrics.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA estimations.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for automation scripts.
• Ensure high test coverage and timely delivery of quality releases.

Required Skills:

• 8–14 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering or Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
• Excellent programming skills in Java.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience in Rest Assured for API automation.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
• Strong understanding of automation framework design (Hybrid, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Page Object Model).
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Android and iOS mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Exposure to SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Basic knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
