Job Description:

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, switches (spine and leaf) and data center (DC-DRS) network.
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot security technologies including firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, SLB, DDOS, GLSB and VPN solutions.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
• Monitor and manage Internet links, P2P circuits, MPLS, and VPN connectivity to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitor and analyse network traffic for anomalies, security threats, and performance issues.
• Manage routing, switching, and load balancing solutions (Cisco, Array).
• Implement security best practices aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and other compliance standards.
• Experience in addressing vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
• Service management through Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL framework).
• Provide support for incident response, including forensic analysis and root-cause investigation.
• Active participation for internal and external audits and ensures adherence to compliance frameworks and zero non- conformities.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to higher-level teams or vendors to drive closure and meet the SLA. • Develop and maintain network and security architecture documentation, policies, procedures, SOPs, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional support teams such as application, systems etc. to ensure secure connectivity and integration.
• Conduct regular hardening, patching, upgrades, and testing of network and security devices.
• Participate in DR drills, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Manage license and ensure compliance with deployments.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a security-first mindset. • Experience in data center and enterprise-grade environments.
• Exposure to automation tools for network/security operations. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco).
• Experience in handling Internet links, P2P circuits, MPLS networks, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with load balancers, WAF, LLB, GSLB (Array)
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and related activities.
• Understanding of DDoS mitigation, API security, and endpoint protection.
• Relevant certifications preferred: CCNP Security, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE, F5-CA and other relevant certifications.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
