Brand : Leadstart Website: www.leadstartcorp.com Please email your CV to: [email protected] / [email protected] Job Summary We are seeking an aggressive and network-driven Sales Manager for South India to expand our publishing footprint across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala. Based out of a major regional hub (such as Bengaluru or Chennai), you will drive field sales, manage local distributors, and directly pitch our catalog to bookstores & institutions. The ideal candidate has deep existing relationships within the South Indian book trade market and a proven track record of growing regional sales territories. Key Responsibilities Territory Sales & Execution · Drive primary a sales across the South India territory (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala ) to meet monthly and annual revenue targets. · Conduct extensive field travel to map out towns, visit book markets, and secure orders for front list and backlist titles . · Ensure maximum product visibility and stock availability at retail counters, independent bookstores, and airport retail chains. Account & Distributor Management · Manage, evaluate, and expand our network of regional distributors and wholesale traders across South India. · Pitch our books, for institutional sales to schools, colleges, offices, and libraries for institutional adoption. · Monitor distributor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment with the central warehouse. Collections · Take full ownership of outstanding collections and ensure timely payments from distributors and retail accounts. Required Qualifications & Skills · Education : Graduate degree in any stream (Business, Marketing, or Arts). · Experience : 2-10 years of on-field sales experience in trade publishing (non-academic book) , distribution, in South India. · Language Proficiency : Fluency in English and Hindi , along with working proficiency in at least one or more South Indian languages ( Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam ) is highly preferred. · Market Knowledge : Established, strong relationships with regional book distributors and retailers. · Travel : Highly mobile role requiring 60%–70% travel across markets in South India. · Assets : Must possess a valid driving license and a personal vehicle for local field movement.
