Role Description This full-time, on-site Computer Aided Design Draftsman role is based in Gwalior. The position involves preparing and revising detailed technical and engineering drawings using CAD software, based on specifications from engineers, architects, and project managers. The Draftsman will translate conceptual designs into precise digital drawings, maintain drawing standards, and ensure dimensional accuracy and clarity. Daily tasks include coordinating with project teams, reviewing inputs, updating drawings according to feedback, organizing drawing files, and supporting documentation required for approvals and execution. The role also requires adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards while meeting project timelines. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software, with the ability to produce accurate, detailed digital drawings. Ability to create and interpret Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, ensuring clarity and compliance with project specifications. Experience preparing Architectural Drawings and general Drawing work for building, infrastructure, or industrial projects. Diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent technical qualification. Attention to detail, good spatial visualization, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple drawing sets. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders on-site. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and drafting best practices; prior experience in a design or engineering firm is beneficial.
