\n\n\nTrident Staff is seeking an experienced IT Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition across the Canadian staffing and workforce solutions market.
\nThis opportunity is designed for experienced staffing sales professionals with a proven track record of selling IT staffing and workforce solutions . Your primary focus will be generating new business, building strategic client relationships, and closing enterprise staffing opportunities.
\nOur internal teams manage recruitment delivery, candidate sourcing, onboarding, payroll, compliance, invoicing, and ongoing account management, allowing you to focus exclusively on business development and revenue generation.
\n\n\n\nProspect and secure new staffing clients across Canada.
\nBuild relationships with enterprise organizations, consulting firms, MSP/VMS programs, and direct corporate clients.
\nGenerate new business through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, networking, and strategic sales campaigns.
\nDevelop and maintain a strong sales pipeline focused on long-term revenue growth.
\n\n\nPromote Trident Staff's service offerings, including:
\nContract Staffing
\nContract-to-Hire
\nPermanent Placement
\nProject-Based & Statement of Work (SOW) Engagements
\n\n\nBuild relationships with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Operations, and IT decision-makers.
\nNavigate enterprise procurement processes, including MSP and VMS environments.
\nLead client meetings, negotiate commercial terms, and manage the sales lifecycle from prospecting through signed agreements.
\nMaintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts.
\n\n\n\n5+ years of business development experience within the staffing or recruitment industry.
\nProven success selling IT staffing or workforce solutions in the Canadian market.
\nDemonstrated ability to generate new business and grow enterprise client relationships.
\nStrong understanding of contract staffing, contract-to-hire, permanent recruitment, and project-based staffing models.
\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
\n\n\nExperience working with enterprise clients, consulting firms, MSP/VMS programs, or implementation partners.
\nAn established network of HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, or IT decision-makers across Canada is highly desirable.
\nSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a commission-based environment.
\nAvailability to support clients during Canadian business hours.
