We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Research Scientist / Team Leader – Formulation R&D (FR&D) to lead end-to-end formulation development activities, from concept to commercialization, for export-oriented products .

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Formulation R&D , with preferred exposure to Personal Care, Nutraceuticals, Intimate Care, Skin Care , along with sound knowledge of international regulatory requirements.

Position Details

• Job Title: Senior Research Scientist / Team Leader – Formulation R&D (FR&D)

• Experience: 8–12 Years
\n
• Qualification: M.Pharm / M.S / M.Sc in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or a related discipline
\n
• Preferred Industry Exposure: Medical Devices / Food Supplements / Cosmetics
\n
• Market Exposure: Export Markets – US, EU, and other international markets
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Lead end-to-end formulation development , from concept and product development through commercialization, for export markets.
\n
• Design and execute pre-formulation studies, compatibility studies, and formulation development strategies .
\n
• Plan, coordinate, and manage trial batches, scale-up activities, and technology transfer to manufacturing.
\n
• Ensure formulation development activities comply with international regulatory requirements , including the US, EU, and other applicable export markets .
\n
• Review and approve development reports, protocols, technical documentation, and other R&D-related records .
\n
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory Affairs (RA), and Supply Chain .
\n
• Drive innovation, cost optimization, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Formulation R&D function.
\n
• Mentor, guide, and lead a team of scientists , ensuring continuous skill development and effective performance management.
\n
• Support regulatory submissions and provide technical inputs to address regulatory and technical queries.
\n

Key Skills & Technical Expertise

• Strong expertise in formulation development and product lifecycle management
\n
• In-depth knowledge of excipients, stability studies, and scale-up processes
\n
• Experience in export-oriented product development
\n
• Strong understanding of pre-formulation and compatibility studies
\n
• Knowledge of technology transfer and commercialization processes
\n
• Exposure to international regulatory requirements , particularly the US and EU markets
\n
• Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
\n
