Role Description The Head of Business Development is a full-time, remote role, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Bhalekar Consulting's client base. This role oversees the end-to-end business development lifecycle, including identifying new markets, nurturing strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts. Day-to-day tasks involve creating and executing business plans, leading sales initiatives, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions tailored to client needs. The Head of Business Development will collaborate with AI and data technology teams to align offerings with market demands, track performance against targets, and refine go-to-market strategies. This role also includes mentoring business development staff, representing the company at industry events, and maintaining a strong understanding of competitive dynamics. Qualifications Strong business planning and business development skills, with experience in setting and executing growth strategies. Advanced analytical skills for market research, forecasting, and performance tracking. Proven sales experience, including pipeline management and closing complex deals. Account management capabilities, with a track record of building long-term client relationships. Experience in the technology, AI, or data services sector is highly beneficial. Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
