  • Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze, maintain, and enhance VBA-based applications, macros, and automation solutions.
    • Support the CORBA Decommissioning program by identifying and remediating VBA dependencies across EUC applications.
    • Develop, test, and deploy VBA scripts to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with business users, application owners, and project teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
    • Perform impact assessments and document existing VBA solutions and associated business processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VBA applications and automation workflows.
    • Ensure coding standards, documentation, and governance requirements are followed.
    • Participate in testing, validation, and migration activities associated with decommissioning initiatives.
    • Provide regular status updates and support project milestones.

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support the CORBA Decommissioning (Decom) Program . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) Scripting, automation, and application remediation activities. The role involves analyzing existing VBA-based tools and macros, identifying dependencies, supporting migration/decommissioning initiatives, and developing automation solutions to ensure seamless business continuity. Exposure to the banking domain is a plus.
Required Skills and Experience:
    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in VBA development and automation
    • Strong hands-on experience with VBA Scripting.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Office automation.
    • Experience in analyzing and enhancing legacy VBA applications.
    • Understanding of process automation and scripting best practices.
    • Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of VBA solutions.
    • Familiarity with SDLC processes and testing methodologies.
    • Experience in application migration, decommissioning, or remediation projects.
    • Basic SQL/database knowledge.

    Educational Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
