Job Title: Assistant Professor – Management Institution: Himalayan Institute of Management Studies (HIMS) Organization: Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions (HGPI) Location: Kala Amb, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, India About the Role Himalayan Institute of Management Studies (HIMS) is seeking motivated and academically driven professionals to join our faculty as Assistant Professors in Management . Areas of Specialization Applications are invited from candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Human Resource Management Marketing Management Finance Business Analytics Operations Management International Business Entrepreneurship Supply Chain Management Information Technology General Management Key Responsibilities Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Management. Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and learning resources. Mentor and guide students in academic and professional development. Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct research and contribute to scholarly publications and conferences. Support accreditation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance activities. Organize seminars, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, and other academic events. Participate in admissions, examinations, placements, and institutional committees. Build industry connections to enhance student learning and employability. Required Qualifications Candidates should possess qualifications in accordance with applicable higher education regulatory norms. Preferred qualifications include: MBA/PGDM with relevant specialization. NET/SLET qualification or Ph.D. as applicable under current regulatory requirements. Strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills. Demonstrated interest in teaching, research, and student mentoring. Preferred Skills Excellent classroom delivery and presentation skills. Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning. Research orientation with publication potential. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
