Job Description
Business Development Executive - Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive - Government at Veritas Design Studio Pvt Ltd, as associate company of Veritas Design Group, Malaysia, located at Gurgaon. The Business Development Executive - Government is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the government sector. He/she will research and analyse market trends, conduct market research, plan and develop proposals, presentations, and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities: • Scan through various tender portals, shortlist relevant tenders for submission on an ongoing basis. • Maintain a database of qualifying Credentials for multiple typologies of projects and other Qualifying Criteria for timely submission of bids on a regular basis. • Should be well versed with the bidding process on e-tendering portals. • Attending pre-bid meetings and should be able to handle the correspondence with the Government Authorities independently. • Work as a key resource for Business Head & support him/her in various aspects of BD activities. • Responsible for timely communication with new prospects, ongoing contracts as well as internal teams. • Take responsibility of ensuring timely milestone based payments from the clients. • Keep a track of EMDs/Security Deposits and ensure timely receipts of the same. • Ensure all Completion Certificates are collected from the Clients from time to time and the credentials are updated accordingly. Contract Documentation: • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation. • Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally. • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension, or renewal, as appropriate. • Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills · Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field · Experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the government sector for 3 -4 years. · Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships · Experience with research, analysis, and proposal writing. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint · Experience with architecture, design, or construction fields would be preferred. · Knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations is a must.
