Role: Sr GWCC QA Tester
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6-12 months+
Work Hours: 3:30am- 11:30am ET
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: Hybrid - (3x days onsite/week in Pune, India)

ROLE SUMMARY
Leads quality assurance testing activities for Guidewire ClaimCenter applications, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality solutions that support Commercial Property & Casualty insurance business operations. Collaborates with business, development, and project teams to define testing strategies, validate system integrations, manage defects, and drive successful software delivery within Agile environments.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop test plans and testing strategy documents, review with management, and execute testing activities.
· Estimate upcoming testing efforts, plan resources according to priorities, and deliver quality results within project timelines.
· Analyze requirements, develop test scenarios and test cases, execute test activities, and review QA team results.
· Perform in-depth analysis of QA, UAT, and production issues, document findings, validate fixes, and track defects through resolution.
· Coordinate with business analysis, development, and management teams to resolve questions and drive activities to completion.
· Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation and testing activities.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
· 7+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years of Guidewire ClaimCenter integration and configuration testing experience.
· Experience delivering at least two end-to-end Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations within the Commercial Insurance industry.
· Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter integration testing and working knowledge of PolicyCenter.
· Strong proficiency in SQL development and database validation activities.
· Experience working within Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.
· Experience performing data validation for product migration and conversion initiatives.
· Experience using test management tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, Rally, and Jira.
· Experience working with legacy mainframe environments and performing integration testing across ClaimCenter, mainframe, and SAP systems.
· Experience with SoapUI testing.
· Working knowledge of XML.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in Property & Casualty insurance is required; Commercial Insurance experience is preferred.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Ability to lead testing efforts across multiple concurrent initiatives.
· Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.
· Strong defect triage and root-cause analysis capabilities.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
· Guidewire ClaimCenter Analyst Certification preferred.
