Senior Analyst- DTC Settlements
cation: Bangalore / Chennai
Shift: US Shift (Night Shift no rotation)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end settlement activities for US markets, primarily DTC (Depository Trust Company) and FED (Federal Reserve) products.
Monitor and process trade settlements for Equities and Fixed Income,
Investigate and resolve settlement fails, unmatched trades, and cash/stock breaks within agreed SLAs.
Liaise with Front Office, Custodians, Counterparties, and Internal Operations teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Perform daily reconciliation activities and ensure all exceptions are investigated and cleared.
Monitor funding requirements and manage settlement risks to avoid penalties and operational losses.
Prepare and review MIS reports, KPI metrics, and incident reports.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and UAT testing.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong domain knowledge of US Securities Markets, specifically DTC and FED settlement processes.
Good understanding of Equities and Fixed Income products
Hands-on experience in settlement platforms such as BPS, Impact and BDC ( Bony )
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage critical market deadlines.
Ready and willing to work in US Shift (Night Shift).
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of experience in Capital Markets Operations with exposure to US Settlements.
Knowledge of T 1 settlement environment and market regulations.
Experience in handling high-value transactions and managing operational risks.
