SAP MM Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Configure and customize SAP MM processes, including Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, and Vendor Master.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
• Manage procurement processes such as Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Verification (IV), and Stock Transfers.
• Integrate SAP MM with SAP modules such as SD, FI, PP, QM, and WM/EWM.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical teams during development.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely functional support.
• Prepare project documentation, configuration documents, and user training materials.
• Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP MM Implementation project.
• Strong knowledge of Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, and Vendor Master.
• Experience with Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Verification (IV), and Stock Transfer processes.
• Knowledge of SAP MM integration with SD, FI, PP, QM, and WM/EWM.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM.
• SAP MM Certification is an added advantage.
• Exposure to interfaces, IDocs, and EDI integration.
