Scrum Master

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery and foster a culture of continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent servant leadership skills, and a proven ability to coach teams, remove impediments, and ensure successful sprint execution. You will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach and mentor teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments that impact team productivity and delivery.
• Partner with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is prioritized, refined, and ready for development.
• Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics to improve predictability.
• Foster a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing team environment.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement Agile best practices.
• Track and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and impediments to stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration and manage inter-team dependencies.
• Support Agile planning, release planning, and roadmap execution.
• Promote transparency and encourage a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Ensure adherence to Agile frameworks while adapting processes to meet business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in Agile project delivery, including at least 2 years as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for software development teams.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, UX, Product Management, and DevOps.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or Trello.
• Ability to identify and remove delivery impediments effectively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
