Overview:
\nMediaTek is seeking Business development Director to drive Business development, Sales and ecosystem Partnerships within the Indian automotive sector.
\nIn this strategic role, you will develop and execute sales plans, build long-term relationships with key executives and working level stockholders at OEMs and Tier1's. Candidates require deep knowledge of semiconductor market specific to automotive technologies. This position is based in Bangalore and requires strong techno-commercial acumen and communication skills. In this role, you will be key responsible to drive growth for all the MediaTek Automotive products and solutions.
\nYour expertise will help shape our market presence in the rapidly evolving automotive industry.
\nResponsibilities:
\nStrategic Go-to-Market: Develop and Execute Business plans for key accounts across major automotive OEM's and Tier1's within India region. Build and manage excellent relationship with OEM, Tier-1's and Ecosystem partners.
\nDeal Origination: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for IVI, Cockpit, Telematics and ADAS.
\nTechnical Positioning : Educate customer engineering and executive teams on MediaTek product roadmaps, support proof of concepts (PoCs), performance benchmarks and articulate the value of Mediatek products and solutions.
\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the liaison connecting global key account managers, marketing teams and engineering teams to ensure successful execution of the projects.
\nMarket Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory policies.
\nOperational : Manage ongoing forecasting, quotes, samples and production ramp-ups, including supply management with operational and logistics teams.
\nRequirement :
\nIndustry Experience: 15+ years of proven track record in business development or sales within the semiconductor and automotive domain.
\nTechnical Acumen: Strong working knowledge of AI, digital Cockpit, Telematics ADAS and SDV
\nNetwork: Existing relationships and executive-level connections with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and relevant ecosystem players.
\nEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics, Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field; MBA is preferred.
\nSoft Skills: The ability to navigate complex organizational structures, exceptional presentation skills,
