Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable **data models** for enterprise data platforms.
* Develop and optimize data pipelines using **Azure Data Factory (ADF)**.
* Build and maintain data processing solutions using **Azure Databricks and PySpark**.
* Develop efficient and reusable solutions using **Python**.
* Write complex and optimized **SQL queries** for data transformation and analysis.
* Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing.
* Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
* Optimize Databricks jobs, Spark workloads, and SQL queries for performance and cost.
* Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
* Ensure data quality, governance, security, and scalability across data solutions.
* Provide technical leadership and mentor junior/mid-level data engineering professionals.
* Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement of data platforms.
Required Skills
* **13–19 years of overall experience** in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
* Strong hands-on experience in **Data Modelling** and data architecture concepts.
* Strong expertise in **Azure Databricks**.
* Strong experience with **Azure Data Factory (ADF)**.
* Excellent programming skills in **Python and PySpark**.
* Strong expertise in **SQL**, including complex queries and performance optimization.
* Strong understanding of **ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines**.
* Experience working with large-scale data and distributed processing frameworks.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Azure Data Lake / modern Azure data platforms.
* Knowledge of dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, and enterprise data warehouses.
* Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering.
* Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
