  • Develop and optimize database interactions using MySQL and SQL.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering standards.
  • Create unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, monitor application performance, and support deployments.
  • Contribute to platform modernization, reusable components, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

  • 3-6 years of software development experience with Java.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and backend service development.
  • Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, multithreading, and concurrency.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, Git, Maven/Gradle, and Linux environments.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing.

  • Experience modernizing legacy Java applications.
  • Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, tracing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience working on high-volume transaction or workflow-processing systems.

  • Strong collaborator who follows established architecture patterns and coding standards.
  • Curious, accountable, and eager to learn in a complex, high-scale environment.

Note: This is an individual contributor role focused on software development and component ownership. It does not include architecture ownership, people management, or infrastructure administration.
