Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Backend Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop solutions with an Agile Development team.

Design, develop and debug web application. Need to ensure performance, scalability, reuse, security, reliability, and other quality aspects in design and development.

Deploy solutions to Docker containers and Kubernetes.

Documentation related to design and development.

Participate in code/ design reviews of peers. Ensure code quality and avoid technical risks.

Participate in creation and review of test plan and test cases with the quality team.

Estimating development time.

Effective communication with other stakeholders within the team.

Technical requirement:

Strong proficiency in Java programming language. 4 to 5 years of total work experience in Java.

Strong knowledge of Java 8+ features

At least 3 years of experience with SpringBoot framework

Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development

Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL

Familiarity with build automation tools like Maven or Gradle

Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis

Strong knowledge of ORM concepts such as Hibernate / JPA

Understanding micro-services architecture and service decomposition.

Working knowledge of setting up builds and deployments.

Hands-on experience with Git, Tracking Tool (Azure DevOps/ JIRA) and Docker/ Kubernetes.

Understanding of system integration and communication protocols.

Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE will be preferred.

Developer or Spring Professional Certification will be preferred.

Minimum Qualification Required:

B.E. / MCS / MSc (Computer Science) / B-Tech / M-Tech
