Role Overview

We are hiring a Program Manager - Cloud Transformation to lead large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across SGCP Cloud environments.

This role requires strong leadership in managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs, ensuring alignment between business strategy, technology execution, and governance standards. The ideal candidate will operate at the intersection of strategy, delivery, and stakeholder influence, driving outcomes without direct authority.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Leadership & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end execution of large, complex transformation programs in cloud environments
• Define and manage program structure, delivery roadmap, milestones, and outcomes
• Coordinate multiple delivery streams across engineering, platforms, security, and operations
• Ensure consistent delivery against scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets

2. Governance & Control Framework

• Establish and run program governance structures (steering committees, reporting cadence, escalation forums)
• Define and monitor KPIs, progress metrics, and delivery health dashboards
• Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
• Identify risks and dependencies, driving timely mitigation and resolution

3. Stakeholder Management

• Engage with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams across regions
• Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams (Architecture, Security, Engineering, Finance)
• Drive alignment between business objectives and technical execution
• Manage conflicting priorities and expectations effectively

4. Cloud Transformation Execution

Drive programs aligned to multi-cloud strategy

• Collaborate with architecture teams on:
• Cloud adoption strategy
• Migration and modernization initiatives
• Platform and landing zone enablement

• Ensure measurable progress in cloud transformation outcomes and adoption goals

5. Financial & Value Realization

• Manage program financials including budget, forecast, and cost tracking
• Ensure delivery aligns with expected business value and ROI
• Support cost optimization and FinOps-driven decision making

Technical & Domain Skills

• Strong understanding of:
  • Cloud services across Private and Public Cloud
  • Cloud transformation approaches (Migration, Modernization, Optimization)
  • Enterprise IT landscapes and architecture fundamentals
• Familiarity with:
  • DevOps and Agile ways of working
  • Cloud governance, security, and compliance principles
  • Tooling for program tracking (JIRA, dashboards, reporting tools)

• 12-18 years of overall experience in IT / transformation environments
• 5 years in Program or Portfolio Management roles
• Exposure to public cloud transformation initiatives
• Preferred certifications:
  • PMP / PgMP / SAFe
  • Azure / AWS certifications
