Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance websites, web applications, intranet portals, commerce solutions, and community platforms.
- Build responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.
- Write clean, semantic, and maintainable HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript code.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver engaging digital experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development and production issues across multiple environments.
- Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices and coding standards.
- Contribute to technical documentation and develop tools that improve team productivity.
- Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Front-End Development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience writing semantic and accessible HTML markup.
- Hands-on experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
- Good understanding of DOM manipulation, JavaScript events, and browser APIs.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems and Git-based development workflows.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Chrome DevTools, and YSlow.
- Experience in browser testing, debugging, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
- Experience optimizing web assets and images for performance.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience collaborating with UX/UI design teams.
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js is an added advantage.
