ITAM Flexra Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support Flexera One or FlexNet Manager Suite.
• Manage software and hardware asset lifecycles, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
• Monitor software license usage and ensure compliance with vendor licensing agreements.
• Perform software inventory, reconciliation, normalization, and optimization activities.
• Configure and maintain Flexera inventory agents, beacons, and data imports.
• Generate compliance reports, dashboards, and executive-level asset management reports.
• Integrate Flexera with CMDB, ITSM tools, Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, and cloud platforms.
• Conduct software audits and provide recommendations for license optimization and cost savings.
• Troubleshoot Flexera-related issues and provide L2/L3 technical support.
• Collaborate with IT operations, procurement, security, and infrastructure teams to improve ITAM processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Flexera IT Asset Management.
• Strong knowledge of Flexera One or FlexNet Manager Suite.
• Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
• Understanding of software licensing models for Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, VMware, and other enterprise vendors.
• Experience integrating Flexera with ServiceNow, SCCM/MECM, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Good knowledge of SQL, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Flexera certification is preferred.
• Experience with enterprise ITSM and CMDB environments.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and SaaS license management is a plus.
