Senior Developer (AEM + Java)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Java technologies.
• Develop reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services.
• Customize and enhance AEM Sites based on business requirements.
• Integrate AEM with third-party applications, REST APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and OSGi.
• Work with Sling Models, HTL (Sightly), JCR, CRXDE Lite, and Apache Sling.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with architects, UI developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Java and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Strong hands-on experience with AEM 6.x/AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR.
• Experience developing AEM Components, Templates, Editable Templates, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, and Workflows.
• Strong knowledge of HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency in Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AEM Dispatcher and caching strategies.
• Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Adobe Certified Professional/Expert – AEM certification is a plus.
