Job Responsibilities:

• SAP MM Configuration: Configure SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material master data, to align with client needs and industry best practices.
• Inventory Control: Implement inventory control strategies and optimize stock levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring materials availability.
• Purchasing: Create and manage purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and contracts within SAP MM, ensuring efficient procurement processes.
• Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement, considering factors such as cost, quality, and lead times.
• Integration: Work closely with other SAP modules and teams (e.g., SAP SD, SAP PP) to ensure seamless integration with SAP MM processes.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.
• Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate the functionality and accuracy of SAP MM solutions.
• Support and Training: Provide end-user training and support, assisting with issue resolution and troubleshooting
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP MM best practices, new features, and innovations, and make recommendations for process improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SAP experience range in MM Module - 8-15 yrs
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP MM implementation and support.
• Proficiency in configuring SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material master data.
• Strong understanding of materials management and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of SAP integration techniques and familiarity with other SAP modules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SAP certification in Materials Management is a plus
• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP MM
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of MM
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
• Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues;
• Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members Desired Skills & Experience
