Senior Architect (CAD + US exposure)

Responsibilities:

\n
• Responsible for overall Design and coordination of the project and team
\n
• Work with the Design Manager(s) and project team (s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production
\n
• Lead design effort and client presentations, support client relationships
\n
• Collaborate with Design Manager(s) to deliver projects on time
\n
• Coordinate with consultants
\n
• Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions
\n
• Mentor junior and intermediate design staff
\n
• Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings
\n
• Oversee development of design throughout design development and construction drawings
\n
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
\n
• Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
\n
• Participate in firm marketing, industry events and project interviews
\n
• Collaborate with design talent across the firm to elevate the quality of our work overall
\n
• Must be able to plan ahead and anticipate the project's needs in order to maintain goals and objectives of the project, on behalf of all project team members
\n
• Must be able to execute strong follow through on agenda items and project issues to achieve a high level of design
\n

Skills:

\n
• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve both individually and as a part of a project team
\n
• Proficiency in the use of 2D/3D software, including Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Sketchup, PhotoShop & InDesign
\n
• Understanding Bluebeam
\n
• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
\n
• Strong presentation skills
\n
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
\n
• Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
\n
• Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationship
\n
• A deep understanding of - and experience with - urban, resort and/or mixed use hospitality projects
\n
• Candidate should hold BArch Degree
\n
• A high level of technical competence and a thorough understanding of building systems
\n
