Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Experience in CAD Software tools like UG NX, CREO and other desirable softwares.
Minimum of one project completion experience for a Vehicle or System systems.
Design Calculations & Kinematic analysis
- GD&T, Tolerance stack up analysis, SDS, SOR
Boundary Diagram & Interface Matrix (Part of DFMEA)
- Product delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation including QFD, Benchmarking, feature analysis, Engineering drawing, Model preparation and release.
- CAE and Physical Validation support.
- Engineering proposals preparation in consultation within COE / Internal external experts.
- Releasing of drawings and models in systems with related quality checks.
- BOM Preparation
- Creation and updating of Project Documentation related to systems
Design Verification
CFT Member - Assy sequence process / Serviceability / Accessibility / DFA - Digital assy
CFT Member - DFMEA, PFMEA, Build Support & Issue Resolution Management

Experience

3 - 5 Yrs

Industry Preferred

Tractor, Automotive & Commercial Vehice, Tier 1 supplier

Qualifications

BE / B. Tech - Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automobile, Production

Analyitical skills
Problem solving skills

Detailing orientation, Ability to work in CFT, Planning and delivering in tight schedules
Must be fully conversant in the field of Vehicle Integration, System/ Aggregate Design, Design Packaging and Layout Preparation
Should be able to interface with engineering and prototyping to conceive optimum Vehicle layout and packaging
Should be familiar with various Automotive Design Standards & Regulations

Functional Competencies:

  • Good in 3D Modelling & Drafting
  • GD&T & Stack-up Analysis
  • Interface Analysis
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD Modeling packages, especially on UG: Solid, Assembly & Modelling, Drawing Preparation, BOM generation etc.
