Ruby on Rails Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend and third-party applications.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and UI/UX, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Debug and resolve application issues and production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with relational databases to design and optimize queries.
• Maintain version control and support CI/CD deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby and the Rails framework.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frontend integration.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of RSpec, Minitest, or other testing frameworks.
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
