Python developer - Wells Fargo

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 5–7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, REST APIs, databases, and cloud technologies, with experience in building high-performance backend applications and microservices.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build and maintain microservices-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Django or Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience in developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
