Technical Project Manager

Job Description:

• 10–14 years of experience in managing and delivering large-scale enterprise applications, with a strong track record of end-to-end program ownership.
\n
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade applications built on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Node.js based technology stacks.
\n
• Strong experience managing application delivery on AWS Cloud, with a working understanding of key AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, and API Gateway from a delivery and deployment standpoint.
\n
• Experience managing complex projects with strong NFR considerations — scalability, performance, availability, and fault tolerance — from a delivery planning and governance perspective.
\n
• Product background is a must — prior experience delivering enterprise products or product-based platforms, with exposure to product lifecycle, roadmap execution, feature prioritization, and productization mindset.
\n
• Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience running sprints, releases, and program-level ceremonies.
\n
• Proven experience in defining project and delivery plans, resource allocation, effort estimation, and release planning across multiple workstreams.
\n
• Strong track record of managing project KPIs, delivery health metrics, budget tracking, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior business, product, and technology leaders.
\n
• Strong communication skills for driving status updates, executive reporting, ROI discussions, and change management conversations.
\n
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) from a delivery oversight standpoint.

• Exposure to Generative AI / Agentic AI based solutions, including understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, and enterprise AI adoption patterns from a delivery management perspective.

• Experience managing GenAI-based product implementations or AI-enabled feature rollouts within enterprise environments.

• Exposure to data-driven products, analytics platforms, or AI/ML-driven solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

\n
• Lead end-to-end project delivery of large-scale enterprise applications — covering scoping, planning, execution, governance, and closure — using Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks.
\n
• Own the definition of the project and delivery plan for each assignment, including milestones, release strategy, resource allocation, and dependency management.
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, DevOps, Product, and Architects) to ensure smooth delivery of Java/J2EE and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
\n
• Oversee delivery of AWS-based application deployments, coordinating environment readiness, release management, and production rollout activities with engineering and DevOps teams.
\n
• Partner closely with Product Management to align delivery priorities with product roadmap, business outcomes, and customer needs — ensuring a product-first delivery mindset.
\n
• Manage project risks, dependencies, scope changes, and timelines for high-volume enterprise systems, ensuring predictable and reliable delivery.
\n
• Run structured project governance — status meetings, backlog reviews, milestone reviews, and delivery KPI tracking — to keep programs on track.
\n
• Drive stakeholder communication including progress reports, executive updates, change requests, and ROI discussions, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business KPIs.
\n
• Ensure timely resource allocation, staffing, and capacity planning across assignments based on program needs.
\n
• Continuously improve delivery efficiency by leveraging tools like Jira/Confluence, tracking metrics (velocity, defect rates, cycle time), and incorporating lessons learned.
\n
• Support pre-sales, effort estimation, and staffing conversations as needed for new assignments.
\n
• Mentor project leads and delivery teams while fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and execution excellence.
