AWS platform engineer + Python

Must Have Skills

• Strong software development experience, preferably in Python.
• Hands-on AWS expertise: EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, Glue, VPC.
• Strong serverless design experience: Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway
• Production experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Proficiency with Docker; experience running workloads on Kubernetes or AWS ECS
• CI/CD tooling(GitHub Actions, or equivalent) , DevSecOps (security scanning, secrets management, least-privilege access), Agile, and JIRA experience.
• Strong understanding of Networking, security best practices etc.
• Experience managing vendor/open-source platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience in banking/financial services.
• Knowledge of Airflow or data orchestration tools.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
