Job Description:

As par or GSC GTE SEC Dept, IAM sub dept is a key team which manages aspects of delivery related to IAM for SG Group entities and comprises of teams managing Technical Access Management (TAM) and User Access Management (UAM) with about 40-50-member team size across various sub teams.

As function Head of TAM & UAM is you will be responsible for

- Contributing to defining and leading the organization's Identity & Access Management strategy

- Ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient management of identities and access across all systems, applications and platforms

- Lead and manage the teams to align and deliver to the various SG Group IAM initiatives with overall cybersecurity, IT, and digital transformation strategies, including various programs such as Secure by Design, Zero Trust, IAM 360 etc.

- Governance, Risk & Compliance: Drive IAM policies, standards, and controls across the enterprise on aspects related to TAM and UAM, including privilege access management.

- Plan, design, support and implement various migration and transformations

- Team Leadership & Capability Building - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IAM organization, define roles across architecture, engineering, operations, and governance.

- Develop talent, succession planning, and skill-building initiatives. Promote a culture of security awareness and accountability.

- Operational Excellence: Ensure reliable IAM operations, including User lifecycle management (Joiner-Mover-Leaver), Identity provisioning and deprovisioning, Access request and approval workflows, Improve user experience (e.g., seamless SSO, reduced access delays).

- Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and maturity metrics. Ensure to lead and manage Audits and all other compliance to SG group standards and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 10-15 years in IT/security with 5-6 years in IAM leadership roles.

- Experience leading enterprise-scale IAM programs and transformations.

- Proven leadership experience managing large cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge of IAM domains - User Access, Technical access and privilege access management. Including hands on experience managing various applications and referentials with complex inter-related data flows across applications and platforms

- Understanding of Authentication various authentication mechanisms such as MFA, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Directory services (Active Directory, LDAP)

- Strong understanding of Cloud security and hybrid identity, Zero Trust frameworks, API security and identity federation

- Thorough understanding of all ITSM/ITIL process and hands on experience in managing Change Management, Incident management, release management etc.

- Understanding of software development and SDLC process across key technologies used - Java, .NET, Informatica, Python, REST API, etc. including Data Warehousing tools and platforms.

- Exposure and implementation of Automation and AI integration into operations and delivery.

Leadership & Strategic Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making ability. Excellent stakeholder management at executive level. Ability to influence enterprise-wide security posture.


Program & Financial Management

  • Budget ownership and cost optimization expertise. Vendor and contract management experience. Strong governance and reporting capabilities.


Knowledge and/or Certifications (Preferred)

  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications, IAM certifications (SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Forgerock etc.), Program management certifications (PMP, SAFe, etc.)
