Cisco Meraki Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco Meraki wireless access points, switches, firewalls (MX), and SD-WAN solutions.
• Administer and monitor networks using the Cisco Meraki Dashboard.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
• Implement and maintain network security policies, VLANs, ACLs, and firewall rules.
• Configure site-to-site and client VPNs for secure remote connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network availability.
• Perform firmware upgrades, backups, and routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network infrastructure projects and migrations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide L2/L3 support and participate in incident and problem management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
• Strong expertise in Cisco Meraki wireless, switching, MX Security Appliances, and SD-WAN.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, DHCP, DNS, and NAT.
• Experience with VPN technologies, firewall policies, and network security best practices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate ( CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional ( CCNP) certification.
• Cisco Meraki certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with cloud-managed networking and enterprise infrastructure.
