Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Microservices Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Java 8/11/17/21 and Spring Boot.

• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate microservices with internal and external systems.

• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

• Work with Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, and message processing.

• Develop highly available and fault-tolerant microservices for cloud environments.

• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Work with GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Secret Manager.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment.

• Monitor application performance, logs, and production issues using cloud monitoring and logging tools.

• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

• Follow coding standards, security best practices, and Agile development methodologies.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java

• Strong experience with Spring Boot

• Excellent experience in Microservices Architecture

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka

• Good experience with GCP / Google Cloud Platform

• Strong experience developing REST APIs

• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Experience with Git

• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
