Job Description – Editor – BFSI (Digital)

Location: Mumbai

Role Summary – Full Time

We are looking for an editorial leader to establish and scale our BFSI Digital vertical. The role requires a strong blend of editorial expertise, industry relationships, and commercial acumen to build a credible financial content platform that drives audience engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the BFSI Digital editorial vertical from the ground up.
\n
• Develop and execute the editorial strategy across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, Capital Markets, and Personal Finance.
\n
• Create exclusive, high-impact content and thought leadership initiatives.
\n
• Leverage industry relationships to source breaking news, exclusive stories, and strategic collaborations.
\n
• Partner with the business team to support content-led revenue opportunities while maintaining editorial integrity.
\n
• Drive audience growth through digital-first content, SEO, social media, and analytics.
\n

Preferred Experience

\n
• 9–17 years of experience in BFSI/Financial Journalism or Digital Media.
\n
• Hands-on experience reporting on the BFSI sector with leading financial publications or digital media platforms.
\n
• Strong, established network with senior leaders across banks, insurance companies, NBFCs, fintechs, mutual funds, stock exchanges, and other financial institutions.
\n
• Direct working relationships with key regulatory and statutory bodies such as RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, PFRDA, IFSCA, NPCI, AMFI, and relevant government departments.
\n
• Proven ability to break exclusive stories and build a credible industry presence.
\n
• Experience in setting up or scaling a digital editorial vertical will be an added advantage.
