We're Hiring: General Manager – Operations | Surat

Are you passionate about creating measurable social impact while leading operations, finance, and governance? We are hiring a General Manager – Operations for a well-established philanthropic organization committed to driving sustainable community development across India.

Location: Surat, Gujarat (Preference for Gujarati candidates)

Experience: 3-5 Years (Mandatory experience in an NGO, Trust, or Foundation)

CTC: ₹20-40 LPA

Eligibility

\n
• Education: B.Com. (Mandatory)
\n
• Additional qualification preferred: LLB, M.Com., MBA (Finance), or CA
\n
• Excellent English communication skills
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Lead operational strategy and drive scalable social development programs aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
\n
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
\n
• Develop and manage MIS, dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
\n
• Ensure statutory, legal, financial, and regulatory compliance while coordinating audits.
\n
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, CSR partners, NGOs, trusts, foundations, and community leaders.
\n
• Implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks using SROI, ESG, and SDG indicators.
\n
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams.
\n
• Drive field implementation across rural, tribal, and urban communities.
\n

• Experience managing NGO, Trust, or Foundation operations.

• Strong expertise in operations, finance, compliance, and governance.
\n
• Hands-on experience implementing community development programs.
\n
• Exposure to education, healthcare, sustainability, livelihoods, or social development initiatives.

• Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills.
\n
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and leadership capabilities.
\n
