Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Video Editor to join the Brand and Marketing team. This person will primarily

edit long-form videos for YouTube, while also contributing short-form edits (Shorts, Reels) on a

case-by-case basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Long-Form Editing -Edit long-form YouTube content with strong narrative structure, pacing, and viewer retention in mind.

• Short-Form Editing -Contribute to Shorts and Reels as needed, adapting long-form footage or shooting fresh content for short attention spans.
\n
• Content Versatility -Edit across formats including comedy content, UGC, interviews, product demos, and lifestyle content.
\n
• Technical Craft -Apply basic animation, sound design and mixing, and colour correction to elevate final output.
\n
• Storytelling & Timing -Bring a strong sense of storytelling, comedic timing, and visual pacing to every edit.
\n
• Fast-Paced Execution -Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround timelines and iterative feedback.

Qualifications

%CF; 3-5 years of experience editing long- and short-form social media content.

%CF; Proficiency in the full Adobe suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.

%CF; Demonstrated experience editing comedy content, UGC, interviews, product demos, and lifestyle

content.

%CF; Basic knowledge of sound design and mixing, and colour correction.

%CF; Basic animation experience.

Bonus Skills

%CF; Experience using AI tools for generating visuals and animations.

%CF; Experience in leading content shoots.

%CF; Familiarity with current social media trends, meme culture, and viral content formats, with the

ability to create engaging hooks, fast-paced edits, and graphics.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must share a portfolio of edited videos for review, including YouTube long-form content,

YouTube Shorts, and Reels.
