- Record and reconcile reinsurance premium transactions, commissions, and adjustments.
- Process and monitor claims recoverable from reinsurers and ensure timely settlements.
- Prepare and review reinsurance bordereaux, statements of accounts, and balances with reinsurers and brokers.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to reinsurance accounting.
- Reconcile reinsurance balances with underwriting systems and general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and finance teams to ensure accuracy of data and transactions.
- Support financial reporting, regulatory filings, and audits related to reinsurance activities.
