The Process Engineer - Model Management Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, testing, optimization, engineering analysis and implementation of process models within the GHG emissions environment. The role ensures the integrity of associated PI data and engineering assumptions, supports engineering analysis, process performance improvement, troubleshooting, digital initiatives, and new model development, while maintaining high standards of model governance and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain, update, and optimize GHG emissions process models to ensure accuracy and operational relevance.

2. Assist in the development of new process models based on plant and business requirements.

3. Monitor model performance and implement improvements to enhance predictive capabilities.

4. Validate data quality, integrity, and consistency to ensure reliable model outputs.

5. Review and validate engineering assumptions used within process models.

6. Perform data analysis and model verification to ensure alignment with actual plant performance.

7. Recommend corrective actions and model adjustments based on operational feedback and performance evaluations.

8. Provide technical support for troubleshooting process and model-related issues.

9. Collaborate with operations, process engineering, and digital teams to investigate deviations and improve system performance.

10. Act as a key user during application testing activities, validating functionality, performance, and user requirements.

11. Support the implementation of new features, upgrades, and enhancements related to modeling applications.

12. Ensure process models, assumptions, testing results, and workflows are properly documented and maintained.

13. Develop and update technical documentation, user guides, and operating procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:



Work Experience

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering with 5 + Years experience.

2. Strong experience in process modeling, simulation, and process optimization.

3. Knowledge of PI System, process data management.

4. Experience with model validation, troubleshooting, and engineering performance analysis.

5. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, and digital functions.
